Hi there, this is a bit of an update thread but with more queries really! I seem to be stumped at only a handful of boys name when i realise there are millions out there to choose from. We all like Harry although my dh thinks too popular, im not sure "goes" with siblings names but love it, but my two little boys are very keen on it and dont like many other suggestions! I like Harry, Oliver, Elijah, Josiah,(although very much dislike nn joe) Ezekiel (like the nn zekie) so thats 5 names. My other boys have middle names gabriel, joseph, james and charlie. Dont really want to duplicate any middle names as first names although love them all. We are a christian family and whilst i love biblical names and these would be my first choice i dont want to be limited by them. Does harry or oliver sound odd with two other biblical names? All opinions and ideas please xxx

I haven't read the rest of the thread but my first thought was Jacob!

Jonas gives you another Jonah/Josiah variant -but you'd have the Joe problem!

Good luck with the birth and I hope your baby will be fit and well as soon as possible x

Oh and Reuben is lovely, and Abraham shortened to Bram is nice - we know a Christian family whose eldest boy is called that

ToffeeJungle · 15/02/2014 13:45

Love Elijah,.Caleb, Gabriel and Zachariah.

I know a baby Zeke who is so gorgeous. Ezekiel is a big name for a little boy but Zeke is perfect.
Elias, Raphael, Saul, Gideon, Simeon...

NannyWaines13 · 17/02/2014 17:55

What about Joss/Jossy as a nn for Josiah. My godson is Josiah with nn Jossy.

I like Elijah with your other names too. As a pp said Ezekial is too similar to Isaac I think.

KiwiBanana · 17/02/2014 18:56

I love Boaz and think it would fit quite well.
Or what about Jotham?

Thrillybumsmum · 17/02/2014 19:05

First though was Jacob here too.

Love your sons names. Sorry to hear of your challenging pregnancy and time ahead. May god's grace and peace be with you and your family.

How about something like Theodore - means God's gift/gift of God or barnabas - son of encouragement, Paul's friend and encourager in the NT. Or Jared - he who descended/came down

All the very best x

mimbleandlittlemy · 18/02/2014 15:44

Hi, i just wanted to say thank you to everyone who had posted their name ideas - like the idea of nickname jossy for josiah, and still really liking Elijah (Eli)... Thank you also to everyone expressing kind thoughts about our baby. Its been such a huge rollercoaster of emotion since our 20 wk scan and all that has followed, thank God that He is with us even on the most difficult journeys we encounter. My two boys are amazing and the daily blessings and challenges from a very energetic pair of handsome little men (age 6 and 4) are good tonic for a girl feeling heartbroken at times. Thank you for the good wishes. Think Harry is still in the running somewhere as my 4yr old is somewhat obsessed!

How about Ephraim?

Belgianchox · 19/02/2014 10:08

Sacha - I know someone who has 3 boys with your two names and this, and I think they sound really good together.

WheresMeJumperOhNo · 19/02/2014 10:35

Nathaniel, Samson (nn Sonny?), Asher... Thinking of boys from our church. Saul?

NationMcKinley · 19/02/2014 19:49

LOVE Elijah! Grin

SlinkyB · 21/02/2014 01:14

Theo? It means "God's gift".

Sorry to hear of your 20wk scan news, and wishing you and your family all the strength and health in the coming weeks x

AmeliaToppingLovesShopping · 21/02/2014 02:19

When I saw the title my first thoughts were Elijah and Johan as I really love both names.

Really hope everything goes well for you and your family.
