For a friend (I'm definitely not pregnant!). She's given me permission to post this. She has one daughter, Isobel.

Her baby boy is three days old and nameless. Smile It's been a while since I got to cuddle a newborn. She likes Niall, Ethan, Harrison, Aidan, Kaiden, Harley and Riley. Also likes Theo, Leon and Brodie.

Suggestions?

Let someone else name him would be my suggestion. They're awful. Totally the opposite of the lovely Isobel.

BikeRunSki · 02/02/2014 19:41

Has she rejected all those other names? I like Aidan best of the list you've given.

Or are you asking for other suggestions?
Ewan, Frazer, Leo, Lloyd, Lewis, Louie

Ethan, Aidan and Theo are all very nice Smile

Ethen.

Alisvolatpropiis · 02/02/2014 19:56

Niall.

How that lovely name was angliscised to Neil is beyond me.

BananaPie · 02/02/2014 19:56

Isobel is lovely. Classic and (in my opinion) the best way to spell it. The boys names aren't nearly as nice. I'd suggest Edward, Alexander, Thomas, Samuel.

Isobel & George
Isobel & Quentin
Isobel & Edward

The only one of her list that I think is even half as nice as Isobel is Theo. Most of the names in that list are Not Nice, imvho.

Isobel and Laurence/Laurie
Isobel and Edward
Isobel and Benedict
Isobel and Barnaby
Isobel and Ashley
Isobel and James
Isobel and Simon
Isobel and Luke

Theo, not The.

shallweshop · 02/02/2014 20:54

Niall and Theo are the only names I like from that list.

Oriunda · 02/02/2014 21:33

Theo only name on that list that is ok (but there are lots of other great names that presumably she has discarded?). Isobel is lovely so it would be a shame not to have a nice name for her son.

Ruprekt · 02/02/2014 21:35

Theo is lovely...by far the best name on her list.

Isobel and Theo sounds fab.

Go with Theo. SmileSmileSmileSmile
