This name business is getting me down. Dd1 is Chloe. Surname begins with E. Help! P

Perhaps a few alternatives:

Forgot to say, dp has vetoed flower names, and "abstract nouns" ha i.e. Hope, Grace.

I like feminine, current yet timeless, "ie" and "ia" endings.

Not fussy are we?

Why can't you use some if the names you have listed? Unless it is immediate family, I don't think you should just discount names because they have been used by someone else.

Tea1Sugar · 01/02/2014 18:18

Pretty close friends and one name is cousin's daughter.

If you like Alissia, what about Alessia?
Amelia .... Emilia?
Isla .... Iona or Isabella?
Lottie .... Charlotte or Carlotta (could then have Lottie as nn) or
Leticia with Letty as nn?
Maisie .... Macy? Milly?
Ella ...... Eleanor? Fenella? Would still give you desired name as nn

clairemum22 · 01/02/2014 18:19

How about Eliana? Girl's name in my dd's class - I think it's lovely

GillyBillyWilly · 01/02/2014 18:19

Tea! I'm good... Due 2nd June. Decided not to find out the gender.

What about Olivia? Goes nicely with Chloe Smile

Clargo55 · 01/02/2014 18:19

Would Elia work with surname?
