DH has Welsh origins, and Emlyn was his grandfather's name, but does it sound a bit girly?

Also, if we like Arthur, and maybe Emlyn (Arthur Emlyn?), what else might we like?

Very stuck for boys names.

It doesn't sound girly at all, Emlyn Hughes was a legend!

MissYamabuki · 27/01/2014 19:43

Love it, sounds v manly to me!

AuntieStella · 27/01/2014 19:44

I'd think of Emlym Hughes too. Definitely not girly!

Alisvolatpropiis · 27/01/2014 22:58

I like it!

I think Emlyn Arthur sounds better than Arthur Emlyn in terms of first/middle combinations.

Love Arthur v much

Well that's encouraging, thank you.

I hadn't heard of Emlyn Hughes Blush but have now googled him and agree, he doesn't seem particularly girly Grin

I thought it was a modern take on Evelyn but I am obviously an ignorant English person!

CormoranStrike · 28/01/2014 17:04

Emlys Hughes was such a smiley, friendly looking man, and not girlie at all.
