Jane, Joy, May, Grace, Rose - all fairly popular middle names these days.

Do you have any names that have a special meaning or association to you? Maybe honouring a family member?

is Amelia Lily too much of a mouthful? I think I'd quite like a flower middle name.... DD1's middle name is Rose.

Given that Amelia and Lily are both very popular would a different flower name be a better option? Just wondering whether she might actually end up as more than one Amelia Lily in her school.

Daisy?
Iris?
Fleur?
Flora?
Hazel?

MrsRV · 24/01/2014 20:16

I keep seeing on here that Amelia is really popular, but yet I don't know of any where we live... loads of Olivia's, few Rubys... Ellies... Liliys... but no Amelia-s at all! x

I agree with Jane too. It runs together perfectly (disclaimer: my middle name is Jane and I love it)

Tea1Sugar · 25/01/2014 07:07

Our dd2 (due in April) will be Amelia Kate. I started a thread about the popularity of Amelia as despite it's ranking in the "charts", I don't know any. I'm a primary school teacher as well, there are plenty of Olivias, Amelies, Lillys and Lydias though.

MrsRV · 25/01/2014 07:55

ooohhh like Amelia Kate. thanks for that one!
