Hi, I have always loved the name Maggie but recently have started to really like Martha too....can I have your opinions please?

Middle name is almost 100% Beatrice.

Thanks!

I like both. I'd go with the one you've liked longest. Will you go for Margaret rather than Maggie?

Thanks.... it would be Maggie not Margaret

Love both names

Martha

Martha is a beautiful, pretty and graceful name. I love it and I know a lovely girl called Martha. Maggie reminds me of a big lady running a greasy spoon cafe... Not quite so classy IMO.

Yes, i prefer Martha, feel its s more enduring name than Maggie. I feel I could take a Martha more seriously than a Maggie!

Bowlersarm · 20/01/2014 20:25

I like both, but Martha just about has the edge.

buttercrumble · 20/01/2014 20:25

Martha is lovely, sorry don't like Maggie .

smother · 21/01/2014 21:21

Maggie is great!!

Problem for me would be that I'm not so sure about using it as a stand alone name and I don't like Margaret.... but what about Margot? That's pretty gorgeous too!

Love maggie, our dd was so very nearly a maggie

aoife24 · 22/01/2014 15:16

Martha. There's something quite elegant and dignified about it.
