Is it fair to compromise?

We are not the most decisive couple and have really struggled with a name for DS2. I have had two or three favourites all along, one of which is Oliver.

DH has had a few favourites but goes off them after a couple of weeks and has never been thrilled about my choices. As my due date nears he appears to have settled on Oliver because he "can't think of anything better".

Whilst I am happy with the name, I can't help feeling it isn't entirely fair on DH. I would suggest letting him pick the middle name but I know he wants to use Jamie and it really isn't fair on DS to put those two names together!

Should we stick with Oliver or should I push DH to get creative and keep looking for a name we are both keen on?

Oliver James, to avoid Jamie Oliver?
