One other thing to do is check the names you are thinking of in last year's baby names list... Lots of the ones on here I bet are in the top 100. It sounds like you don't want that if you want unusual.

I have a Caspar and a Jeffrey. Jeffrey was after an elder family member, and partnered with a middle name of James (also after another family member) which gave him the nickname jj. But he prefers being called Jeffrey.

I was dying to have 6 more children so we can have a Septimus but I feel much better now as we could call a second DS Theophilus. What about a girl though... there's the dilemma... Can you have Theophila? I suppose there's always Theodora but that's not quite the same.
