We are early on in pregnancy, so still thinking about names. Any opinion/favourites on the following? In rough order of my preference.

For a DD
Abigail
Meredith
Rosaline
Serenity

For a DS
James
Alexander
Isaac (DH not keen)
Theo

I would choose Meredith and Alexander. Love Merry as a nickname.

I can't choose a girls name as I don't like any of them but I like all your boys names. Hard to pick a favourite but prob Isaac followed by Theo followed by Alexander and finally James.

I love the name Abigail and really like James

Onesleeptillwembley · 04/01/2014 02:06

Rosaline and Serenity I dislike. First, too much, second -? Too try hard, not nice sounding, bit American preacher ish. I personally don't like Isaac and Theo is just half a name. The rest are fab.

Abigail and James!

ActiveTimes · 04/01/2014 03:39

Meredith and Alexander

Meredith and James

I think Rosalie would be better than Rosaline, or just Rosa is lovely

Wishfulmakeupping · 04/01/2014 03:56

Abigail is lovely I don't like your other girl choices and like Alexander and James for a boy

TheBunsOfPanettone · 04/01/2014 09:00

I think all the boys' names are lovely and Meredith is too. I quite like Abigail but am not at all keen on Rosaline and Serenity. FWIW I rather like Rosalind and am not sure why one letter should make so much difference..... I think I'm into irrational like/dislike of names territory here.

CarryOnDancing · 04/01/2014 10:05

Meredith and Alexander! I think Alexander is the only name where I would ignore the popularity as it's so lovely. I would use the nn Lex though rather than Alex or Xander.

I love Meredith and if we get a surprise and our expected boy turns out to be a girl, I will dig my heels in until DH agrees to it!

Theresomethingaboutdairy · 04/01/2014 20:28

Abigail and James.

RIZZ0 · 04/01/2014 20:33

Meredith and Alexander, like the diminutives Merry and Alex too

sarahquilt · 04/01/2014 20:38
