Is it a nice name? I'm thinking of using it for my dd.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Rosencrantz · 31/12/2013 22:54

I don't like it. Feels too close to Lynne to me, and that feels very dated.

InfiniteJest · 31/12/2013 23:15

It's unusual and pretty, a more modern version of Lynne. I haven't heard it before, but I like it.

Artandco · 31/12/2013 23:34

Is it pronounced like Linnea? If so I would spell it Linnea not lynna. Or like Lena?

tallulah · 31/12/2013 23:45

No no no. People will assume it's Linda. They won't spell it right. It doesn't even have a nice sound. Why would you.

Onesleeptillwembley · 31/12/2013 23:53

Made up? Sounds a bit trailer - will you encourage her to sing country and wear tasselly blouses with boots?

hoppinghare · 01/01/2014 00:06

I don't like it. Lynne is nice.

LittleRedDinosaur · 01/01/2014 00:22

How do you say it?

Clearlymisunderstood · 01/01/2014 00:37

I have a friend called Liana which I imagine you would say similarly? Not really fussed on your spelling tbh

Lullabyte · 01/01/2014 00:43

Lynne is much nicer.

Or perhaps Lina (pronounced 'line-a')?

TheNightIsDark · 01/01/2014 00:47

Too much like Lynne

shartsi · 01/01/2014 07:25

Thanks everyone, I will not be using it.
