Hiya, trying to think of names for no 2!
We are pretty traditional in our tastes, and so far like Benjamin, Thomas and Alexander. Which do you think goes best?

Middle names will be James William (family tradition)

Thomas sounds better with the other names i think :)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/12/2013 21:47

I came on to suggest Benedict, so Benjamin would be lovely. Or Thomas tbh. Not fond of Alexander.

onetiredmummy · 28/12/2013 21:48

I like Alexander.

Have you considered Charles or Henry as well.

Ikeameatballs · 28/12/2013 21:50

Hmmm, I like all of your suggestions!

Nathaniel
Samuel
Harold
Robert
Arthur

I love traditional names and think Edward is one of the best.

Vincent
Oliver
Joseph

Thomas would be my pick from those. I also like James as a first name.

I like all your suggestions. I know a lot of young Thomases atm. I'd agree too that Robert is a nice and (to me) underused classic name. Plenty of possible options/nicknames/shortenings too. John is another underused trad name.

Edward and Alexander
Edward and George
Edward and Rupert
Edward and Hugo
Edward and Rafferty
Edward and Caspian
Edward and Tarquin

I adore the name Edward and the Middle names you have chosen. Congratulations.

Ham69 · 28/12/2013 23:35

I like Benjamin and Alexander.
Just in case you're open to suggestions, i like Edward and Laurence together.

sleepingbeautiful · 29/12/2013 20:53

I love Edward and Henry, also Edward and Peter.

mum2jakie · 29/12/2013 20:54

I thought Thomas before I'd even opened the thread. The two names work perfectly together. Lovely choices.

Rushyswife · 29/12/2013 22:00

Thanks all! Can't have the middle names as first names due to family members. Love Henry but it is another close family member's name. I do like Charles, might add it to our short list. Similarly Laurence, although suspect DH will veto it as too 'out there'!!!! ( He is v traditional, read picky!)

I have an Edward. How about Alistair or Kenneth?
