Well at least you'll have to think outside of the popular ones! Mae for a start wouldn't work!

I think 2 sylabals or more. Hmmm

What kind of names do you like?

SS3J · 24/12/2013 18:18

My first thought was Abigail. Any good?!

Buzzybee123 · 24/12/2013 18:23

I am open to any suggestions, I have a 4 syllable last name

my thoughts so far are

Isobel
Amelia - rather popular
Estelle
Olivia
Louise
Rosalie - don't think DH would agree
Ariana

I feel like I've been really unhelpful! The names i like are obscure and i stupidly go off names when they become popular. Think Faye is a great choice :-)

Buzzybee123 · 24/12/2013 19:21

wowser you have been helpful :) I am open to any ideas as I really can't think of one, we were going to use Anne which is MIL's name Hmm

You could use a longer variant of Anne - Annabel, Marianne, Rosanna...?

Buzzybee123 · 24/12/2013 19:58

very true we could :)

I like the balance of syllables!

CantaSlaus · 24/12/2013 20:18

Love Faye though Grin

BikeRunSki · 26/12/2013 20:35

I went to school with a lovely girl called Faye-Anne and always thought that was a gorgeous name. Couldn't convince DH for dd though. So I'd have Anne as z middle name.

ImperialBlether · 26/12/2013 20:46

It's a difficult name to mix with another because it ends in a vowel.

Say the words out loud. If the first name is Faye and the second begins with a vowel, do you like the way it sounds? Some names look much better written down.

Faye Catherine sounds like you're saying Fake.
Faye Meredith sounds like Fame.

What's the start of your surname? (You don't have to tell us!) Does it go with Faye?

Buzzybee123 · 26/12/2013 22:55

no my surname is Greek and starts with N and is 4 syllables, good point about way they sound imperial
