George and Peter?

We have a gorgeous DS called George and although we haven't started TTC we've been thinking about baby names for the future.

If we had a girl next time it'd be Rosie for sure.
Does George and Peter sound good?

I love the name Peter but I hate Pete!! And I think "baby peter" would remind me of that poor boy that was killed by his mum and her boyfriend through neglect. Sad
But I suppose you can't not name your child Peter because of that, he would soon outgrow the "baby" part

So George and Rosie, then maybe George and Peter?

Think they could go well together, though not so keen on Peter (perhaps because it did remind me of that poor boy!)

I like it. I have a George and DD might have been Peter if she'd been a boy. Think they're the same type of name so work well together and Peter is a classic name that's not over used.

Yes they go well. Sound lovely together.

My DD, aged 2 has a little friend called Peter. I was a bit surprised initially as I saw it as a bit of an.old man name, but of course now I think it really suits him, and he is a lovely boy. I only know one so he wouldn't have loads in.his class. And it goes very well with George. Go for it! The only proviso is, based on my friend's experience, you will end up with TONS of Peter Rabbit merchandise!

I really like Peter.

DS1's middle names are Peter George, so of course they go together!

I like Peter, but then I'm biased, ny OH is called Peter. It's a good solid strong name for a boy I think.

MamaPingu · 17/12/2013 21:56

Does your OH get called Pete often? I'd hate that until he was older! Smile 39 at least haha
