Ds2 will be arriving in a couple of monthes.we already have a Owen...opinions on Flynn and whether it goes well with Owen please

I like it.

Much much nicer than the ubiquitous Finn/Finley. They are everywhere.

I like it. For some reason I have an image if a 1940s style private detective!

The older generations may think it's linked to the swashbuckling actor Errol Flynn.

I think it's cool though

It's DS 3s middle name. Means son of the red haired one so was apt. Errol did play a part in my choice though.

I'm not a fan of Flynn, there's no specific reason though so I see it as perfectly useable. I do however love the name Errol!

I like it, not usually a fan of surname type names but they usually end with 'er' or 'son', this feels different. Possibly a bit too similar to the overdone Finn but nicer!

Very nice - not my usual 'type' of name at all but I think it's really nice. Sounds kind of dashing and modern and classic all at the same time - and a nice change from Finn. Sounds good with Owen.

I really like Flynn. A friend of my DHs has a toddler called Flynn and he's just gorgeous :)

Well I know approx 385 people with this as a surname, so it's a no from me.

Also not sure how it can be described as 'classical'.

My son is Flynn and we loved it for him. His name is Flynn Oliver.

I do think of Flynn rider though but go for it we call him flynny as a nickname
