Agree with Karen. One of the most satisfying things I've ever done is tell a particularly horrid one to go fuck herself. Still makes me smile, and it was years ago!

Maxine was a right little bitch and Ellen was full of herself.

Anyone with a double barrelled surname has always seemed particularly up themselves (Sophie) but perhaps that is because I was the only state comp girl in a polo, Fox hunting and private school oriented village!

As a teacher, your views of names are changed by the experiences you've had to a certain extent....hence why both my children have names which I've never taught a child with. So no reference points!
