What names do you dislike solely because you know/knew someone horrible with that name

I went to school with a Julie who was pretty nasty and has put me off the name forever more.

My name hasn't been mentioned yet !

Gregory, partially blinded me in one eye whilst at primary school.

Rebecca, tried her darndest to steal my husband! Luckily he was completely unaware of what she was attempting and so it was a short lived effort.

I really liked the name Toby but taught one who was whingy and attention-seeking and it put me off. Several other names from teaching I'm not so keen on!

From my own past - Natasha and Marianne. Although I may be getting over it because I am beginning to like Marianne.... (I think Jane Austen is winning over personal experience!)

Tim- biggest GIT I ever met was called that-a vile abusive sexually incontinent RMN. Biggest Git most other people met too. Have met several obnoxious Tims sadly.

Tracey -Met one called that who is an absolute deceitful, lying, snide bitch. Has thoroughly warped my perception of this name.

Every Emma I have met has been invariable a problem: first one was a shouty fly of the handle manager, second one was a racist ignorant bigot, third one is nicer but likes to keep her distance.

I realise however, it is not the name, I just seem to meet the wrong Emmas.

Like every other teacher, I have a list of no-go names! it is a nightmare when trying to pick names for own children.....

Have taught a Tarzan (small little child!), River (surname Madien,) built like a prop forward and twins named Ronnie and Reggie (surname ....you've guessed it!!!) why do people do it???
