Harriet or Imogen?

We love both these names, and just can't decide between them ...
Gorgeous baby girl now a week old ... what do people think?

love them both but Harriet will become Hat or Hattie and Imogen Immie, although I like those nicknames too!

Can't you use both ? Imogen Harriet sounds nice!

That's an idea, we were going to go for either:
Harriet Isobel Florence or Imogen Florence Rose ...
Like the idea of saving the other for if we ever have another girl ...
What to people think of those, or maybe: Harriet Imogen Florence or Imogen Harriet Florence ... ? Guess we could still use the other if we had another one ... Oh dear, getting in a complete muddle! xx

Imogen Florence is my favourite, very pretty and classy, I don't think it needs Rose as it a nicely balanced name without it.

I love Harriet, not come across one in a quite a while, but lots of little Imogen's about!

I'm a Harriet and have never been called Hat or Hattie so she won't definitely become one of those as said up thread. But good that you like those options! FWIW I'm a Harry.

Imogen Florence is lovely.

We obviously have similar tastes as DD1 is Imogen, Isobel Rose are my DD2's middle names and Florence was on my list last time but we had a boy :)

My name is Harriet, but it's always shortened to Hattie.

I hated it as a child, but I don't mind it now. People always remember me because I've got an unusual name, which I think is a plus now

Harriet Imogen Rose is the nicest combo from the names you've given, IMO.

Plenty of choice later on in life, too.

Imogen is gorgeous. I love Harriet too, but you've got to be cool enough to wear it.

I'd go for Harriet, only because I know a few little Imogens, seems to have become quite popular in the last few years, whereas Harriet is a bit more unusual I think. And Hattie is a very cute nickname.

I love Harriet. It was in my top 5 but DH vetoed.
Nice grown up name with good girlie or tomboy nns.
