Love the nn Cece so we are considering Cecilia/Cecelia.

A/what do you think?

B/ How should it be pronounced?

Pinkbell's pronunciation and the spelling Cecelia is better, looks more rounded than Cecilia. It also makes more sense if you're using the nickname Cece.

It's my MIL's name and she hates it! Also, it makes me want to sing the Simon & Garfunkel song too every time I hear it.

I prefer Cecile, Cecelia to me its what my grannys sisters were called. It's along the same lines as Dymphna, Patricia, Assumpta. I'm not explaining it very well , it's a nun type name.
