Thought we were fairly settled on Dylan for a boy, Saffron for a girl... but now I'm not so sure. I still love Dylan, and OH still loves Saffron, but I think we want to make sure we've exhausted as many avenues as possible before we decide on a name for sure! We'll be finding out if boy or girl in four weeks so we can give it extra extra thought then, but no time like the present to start thinking about it!

Would love to know what you think of our list, along with some suggestions based on our lists, but also, would love to know what your favourite names are so we can maybe discover some new names we hadn't even considered before Grin

NAMES WE LIKE
GIRLS
Saffron
Autumn (a no-go seeing as due in April)
Avery
Harley
Alexis/Alexa/Alexia (she would be Lexi for short)
Scarlett
Madelyn (no-go seeing as I'm already a Maddie)
Caitlin
Willow

BOYS
Dylan
Noah (I love, OH hates)
Finlay (I love, OH is 'meh') about.

I love Avery for a girl. Wasn't confident enough to use it though and I had another name I liked just that little bit more.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 13/11/2013 18:53

Like nearly all on your shortlist OP. Personally am less keen on Harley.

Amber
Dulcie
Stella

Fraser
Hal (lam)
Rory

And just for fun two Cornish names Merryn (girl) and Jago (boy).

moominleigh94 · 13/11/2013 19:24

Rory has been added to the list Grin

Like the Cornish names but we're Welsh, so if we're going Celtic think it'll have to be Welsh but thank you for the suggestions :)

My Autumn was born in April, and the only other Autumn I know was born in August.

BlueChampagne · 14/11/2013 13:14

Like Saffron and Willow, and Dylan and Finlay. How about:

Meredith
Rhiannon
Meryl
Corinna
Tamsin
Kerenza

David
Wreford
Torin
Marcus
Laurence

moominleigh94 · 14/11/2013 21:55

Love Meredith, Tamsin and Marcus Grin

David is also lovely but it's the English version of OH's name so we're keen to avoid that :)
Thanks for the suggestions.
