I don't take to it, but it's kind of OK.

I'd pronounce it the same way as the bush: az-ay-lee-a

but had a friend whose mum was Italian and they pronounced it Az-a-lay-a.

Az-a-lee-a and I absolutely adore it! I think it is stunning and beautiful. It beats the usual flower names hands down!
