DH suggested it- can't decide if it nice or not?! Is it too like melanoma?!

It's lovely and has never made me think of melanoma!

neiljames77 · 07/11/2013 20:29

It sounds like a sausage to me.

Hyperhelpmum · 07/11/2013 22:06

Lol at sausage!

Why a sausage?

Oh dear, if melanoma didn't knock that particular name suggestion on the head then sausage probably has done for it!

DancingLady · 07/11/2013 22:27

I love it. Not sure why it'd make anyone think of sausage... it makes me think of the tres chic and elegant Paloma Picasso.

Cremolafoam · 07/11/2013 22:31

Beautiful name meaning dove in espagnol.

You're thinking of polony sausage?

blueemerald · 07/11/2013 22:35

I think it is a beautiful name, unfortunately Paloma Faith annoys me so much I couldn't ever use it.....

Hyperhelpmum · 07/11/2013 23:07

She is a bit irritating but it's more the sound of the name I'm unsure of. Just can't imagine calling 'Paloma, time to get up!' Would prob call her LoLo I guess. I just don't know. Girls names are so hard!

mondaymondaymonday · 08/11/2013 19:47

Love it!

UriGeller · 08/11/2013 19:54

Love it. Even more now Nataleejah! I call my dd 'Pigeon' Grin

notallytuts · 08/11/2013 20:13

my initial thought was that its a bit pretentious but having spent 30 seconds thinking about it i actually really like it

Hyperhelpmum · 09/11/2013 17:11

It means dove not pigeon!

Spaghettinetti · 09/11/2013 20:04

Dove and pigeon are referred to using the same word in several languages...It is a nice name, but I don't think I'd use it as a given name because of Paloma Faith.

squoosh · 09/11/2013 20:17

I think Paloma Picasso and her lovely red lipstick.

Marli1980 · 10/11/2013 13:26

Very nice name
