Bonita?

I've stumbled accross Bonita. I'm half Spanish so it fits well but I'm wondering why it seems so underused, anything I'm missing?

Nn Bonnie is cute and I love the meaning

I like it. With the right surname though...
I also like Violeta / Arianne / Catalina / Graciana. In fact there are some beautiful Spanish names out there.

I think La Isla Bonita and then I think Bonita Bananas.

Hmmm surname is my big problem. It's 2 syllables ending in an -ee sound
Nothing sounds great with it but I think Bonita sounds ok...

Graciana is also beautiful, not sure I'll get that past DP though

I know of a newborn with that name, nickname Bonnie. A friend (approx 24) also has it as her middle name

Can't see why it wouldn't work in that case (fwiw, i'm now imagining you're DP is David Gandy 'cos it's the only two syllable surname ending in ee I can think of).
