Hi, it's me again Grin.

Can I have people's opinions on these names?

And also, which 3 you think best go together, and which go best with the names Autumn and April?
Having a hard time deciding, thanks everyone!

Opal sounds like a car, Ember I think will be mistaken for Amber, I think Tara and Lara are better than Yara. Ivy is fine, ivory reminds me of, well ivory,

I love April but guess you have an April already.

aoife24 · 10/11/2013 18:21

Yara: add another 'r' and it's a river running through Melbourne.
Eve's my favourite, but I do have an in-built bias.

Eve or Ivy. I like Opal too but it's too similar to April.

I think Ember would be confused with Amber, Ivory reminds me of poachers, and I don't really like the sound of Yara.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 11/11/2013 07:32

Opal is gorgeous

kelda · 11/11/2013 07:35

I know a couple of Yaras.

I think Eve is by far the nicest name on your list. Or Amber - not Ember which everyone will correct to Amber.

Please do not use Ilex. It's a paralegal qualification

rainbowlady25 · 11/11/2013 10:13

I love the name opal suggested it to a friend years ago x

devonsmummy · 11/11/2013 21:37

How about Coral instead of Opal?

kerala · 11/11/2013 21:40

Have you decided, OP ?
Lovely names Smile

CountingStars · 15/11/2013 21:31

Hi emmelinelucas.

Autumn and April are my twins, and I'm pregnant with triplets so that's what this was for, but I have a new thread now.

We are certainly using Eve but thinking as more of a nickname for Genevieve, as hearing it's more common now, sadly. Other two are a bit undecided, but leaning towards Madeline, and Vivienne. Would really like to use Thalia but don't think it fits.

This is my current thread, if you'd like to contribute.

Juniper and Jasmine

lottiegarbanzo · 15/11/2013 21:41

Ok, first impressions;
Ember - sounds like mis-pronounced Amber
Ivory - a brand of soap in North America and maybe UK too (the one that floats I think, so is used in lakes at summer camps etc)
Opal - car, fruit
Yara - hmm, doesn't really sound like a name.
Ivy -ok but not lovely
Eve - great, if popular.

CountingStars · 15/11/2013 21:43

Thank you for your replies, but I created a new thread now, DH sadly went off Ivy and we crossed off the rest except Eve.

Oh, Eve (Genevieve), Vivienne and Madeline are lovely.

I like the first two best and might think of Felicity, Miranda, Juliet, Theadora, Zelda.

CountingStars · 15/11/2013 21:48

Madeline was more of a last minute thing, where as Genivieve (Eve) and Vivienne we've thought about for a while, so that might be why.. it doesn't feel like quite the right name yet.

I like Miranda but don't quite feel it fits..

Some celestial ones: Celeste / Celestine, Ursula (little bear), Phoebe (goddess of the moon),

You have a 'v' theme - Eve, Viv and... Ava (popular, nice), Verity, Venus!
