I see it as an old fashioned name, so best paired with something fairly traditional (and not ending in an -ee sound).

How about: George, Theodore, Tobias, Emerson, John?

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 01/11/2013 10:11

Sebastian or James maybe?

Can I be very rude and this is only my opinion

I'm sure little Aubrey will grow up to love his name. But I would pick something quite run of the mill as you seemto be suggesting for his middle name incase he wants to use that in future

That saves the "Gideon" Osborne issue where he had to pick a totally brand new name George as he didn't want to be known as " Oliver Osborne" which was his middle name (presume it was the alliteration) so think how the middle name will go with your last name if its used aaa first name

Ooooh sorry. Run of the mill as medetrina is suggesting

Aubrey Theodore is lovely

I do like

Aubrey James
Aubrey Philip
Aubrey Thomas
Aubrey William

Are these middle names too 'safe'?

I know a Vincent Aubrey, so it might work the other way round!

Aubrey Stone? Stone is an unconventional, masculine name and i think it suits the first name Aubrey really well.

Aubrey James is great.
