Hi,

One of our name choices would mean the initials would spell leg - do you think this is a non issue?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
GooFawkes · 27/10/2013 08:16

I guess that depends on how hard you want to make their school life?

elcranko · 27/10/2013 08:37

Nothing wrong with leg IMO. I can think of far worse initials than that!

Grumblelion · 27/10/2013 08:39

Also, how often do you see all 3 initials written down together anyway? I wouldn't worry about it.

CarryOnDancing · 27/10/2013 08:50

I wouldn't write off names I loved because of that.

My daughter's initials are ELM. No one has ever noticed.

Obviously, I would avoid something like SHT, but beyond that I wouldn't / didn't worry.

UriGHOULer · 27/10/2013 09:12

It's a non issue.

feelingvunerable · 27/10/2013 09:59

She would only be referred to as Lg though surely?

Clargo55 · 27/10/2013 11:20

I think it's a non issue too. If you love the names just go for it.

lifesgreatquestions · 27/10/2013 11:25

That's ok I think. I've never heard of a child being teased by that word before!
