Triplet Girls Names

Hi everyone.
I'm new to being on mumsnet, but not new to being a mum!

I already have two daughters - April and Autumn.

But now I am due triplets soon, and DH and I have no ideas for names..
We don't want anything popular, but we want something that everyone knows/knows how to spell.

Willow, Holly and Summer

CountingStars · 26/10/2013 19:10

So you think we should continue the 'theme' we sort of have?

Clargo55 · 26/10/2013 19:11

I think the names coupon has suggested are perfect.

CountingStars · 26/10/2013 19:30

I like Willow and Summer, not so sure about Holly.

The three suggested are perfect. I have a Holly so will obvs love that, and Willow was also on our list. Summer also lovely.

MyFabulousBoys · 26/10/2013 20:05

No ideas but massive congratulations!

How exciting! Hope you have many bathrooms in your house for the teenage years! Grin

Thank you for the congratulations! :)

Do you think all A names, or the themed names fit better?

OP posts:
comeandgo · 26/10/2013 20:25

I would avoid any sort of theme be it intials or nature related.

I think you should pick three names that you and your dh both like.

I also would consider each name indivdually. Willow is a lovely name but if your daughter is does not look 'willowly' (sp) might be odd. Equally so if Summer isn't of a summery
disposition.

comeandgo · 26/10/2013 20:26

Sorry for the typos - on phone.

comeandgo · 26/10/2013 20:31

Congratualtions btw! Smile

MiconiumHappens · 26/10/2013 20:34

Willow, Summer and January?

CountingStars · 26/10/2013 20:36

Are January and Tuesday actual names?

OP posts:
Ilikesweetpeas · 26/10/2013 20:39

Len, Con and Margot...

NauseousKitty · 26/10/2013 21:01

Chalet school!!! But seriously, be careful with them all having the same initial as getting post will be a nightmare in years to come. How about June as an alternative to Holly? May? I like Violet, Daisy and Jasmine, but that's just me!

Congratulations! Massive admiration for you!

MiconiumHappens · 26/10/2013 21:01

Yup January Jones.

jkklpu · 26/10/2013 21:06

Don't do a theme, really don't. Your children will all be individuals and might not like to be regarded as one out of a group of five. Choose 3 names you like - not initial A, not another season, just names you like.
Best of luck.

CountingStars · 26/10/2013 21:15

It is actually DD1 who wants to do A names, but I doubt she's really serious.

What do people think of Christina? Just came to mind, and to me it seems to fit.

superzero · 26/10/2013 21:22

Were your daughters actually born in April and Autumn? If so ,maybe think of some seasonal names, maybe relating to the month that they are due..I'm guessing that may be December or January?
Noelle,Holly,Winter,January.
Otherwise agree just choose names that you like and to make things easier for them don't end up with 5 Miss A Stars

TerrorMeSue · 26/10/2013 21:27

Xenia, Ziva and Xanthe

CountingStars · 26/10/2013 21:30

April was, Autumn wasn't.
And yes, due in Dec.

DoItTooJulia · 26/10/2013 21:38

Honestly? I Think themes are twee.

Comeandgo has given you the best advice, I think!

HandragsAndGladbags · 26/10/2013 21:44

I wouldn't go for Autumn and Summer together.

SatinSandals · 26/10/2013 21:48

You don't want Autumn and Summer together and the poor things will have a nightmare with the post if you have the same initial.
