That's dds choice for our new baby.

Share your children's funny name ideas.

Station Officer Steele is DS's unwavering response when asked what to call new baby.

hawkmcqueen · 26/10/2013 12:13

Max or Ruby of course :-)

LalyRawr · 26/10/2013 12:16

Pixie Heart Rose was suggested by my niece (5).

This was after the crushing disappointment that the baby would be a human and not, in fact, a flower.

Kaymeister · 26/10/2013 12:30

Ds 1 (4) wanted to call ds 2 Donald Duck... He then changed his mind and suggested we name him ' baby washing machine' instead! Grin

TombOfMummyBeerest · 26/10/2013 12:33

My sister was supposed to be Madonna. They lied...

MummyPig24 · 26/10/2013 13:50

So cute! So far we have had many interesting suggestions, my favourite is still White Fluffy Wuffy from dd. She also likes Amy Rose from the sonic wii game.

Ds suggested Batman or Rock Baby. Now he is adamant he wants to call it Max.

My dd wants to call this baby cupcake. We've found out we're having a boy so have been talking about names and she still insists on calling baby cupcake Smile

Ham69 · 26/10/2013 19:34

My DD who is 4 has named her imaginary daughter Acreamier. It still makes me laugh and she's been talking to her for about a year now.

PetuliaThePigWitch · 26/10/2013 22:19

Popcorn, surprisingly, wasn't chosen for DD2. Neither was Voldemort (or, on discovering she was a girl, Bellatrix). Or Chipmunk. Or Pooby. Or Justin (as in Bieber). Of Mew Mew. Or Hammy. Or Slide.

TruJay · 27/10/2013 20:53

We've had Trenor, Meff, Dicken and Kimmy from our 3 year old son along with many others and I picked him up from pre-school the other day and was congratulated on expecting a little girl by his teacher, I told her we don't know the sex and she said "oh DS has told us all today that he is getting a little sister and she is going to be called Tegan!" Lol I just laughed, bless him, he's so excited, I'm yet to like one if his suggestions for a baby name

Kantha · 28/10/2013 06:38

'Topsy' or 'Tim' according to my 2 yo. Guess what we're reading?

I'm not even TTC. Grin

MummyPig24 · 28/10/2013 07:21

Lol I just love these suggestions!

My nieces so far have suggested: Voldemort hermione, hagrid, frodo and bilbo from the 10 year old.
And from her little sister Lucy even though that's her older sisters name, daisy and millie (both their cats names) her response to this was that the baby can just be Lucy 2 or Millie 2 etc

Mim78 · 28/10/2013 17:14

My dd wants to call her brother Charles Darwin (all as a first name) or Fifty George.

daughterofafarmer · 28/10/2013 18:52

Baby Stomp Stomp...

Concerned this is what might happen in the future...Grin

DS1 reckons DS2 is going to be called Cheddar Biscuit. That, or Caroline...

MakeHayIsAWhaleNow · 28/10/2013 20:43

Dd insists it's going to be Rosie. What she doesn't know is that Rosalind is probably our choice for a girl...so she might actually be right! (Although I'm convinced it's a boy)

devonsmummy · 28/10/2013 20:58

Dd whenever asked what next pregnant friend baby will be called says
Lulu or John
I've no idea where she got those names from as we don't know anyone called either!

BlackholesAndRevelations · 30/10/2013 07:40

Marmite!

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 30/10/2013 07:59

We are not TTC but DD now 10 just loves the name Eric. God help her babies of the future, she wanted to call our puppy flapjack.

beela · 30/10/2013 08:58

Baby Cheese, if it's a girl, is the most consistent suggestion from our 3yo DS.

Or Baby Doodle, if it's a boy.

When I suggested Emily, he nearly wet himself laughing.
