Another Boy's name query!

DH and I are finding boy's names hard (we don't know DC2's gender).

DD is "Alys", DC2 (if male) will have middle names "John William"
Vaguely contemplating Edwin (or Edwyn or Eadwin).

Any opinions from the Mumsnet jury? Or suggestions for alternatives?

Love Edward (21 yr ds middle name) and Edmund but not as keen on Edwin. Nothing wrong with it, just my personal taste. All go together with Alys (love this).

I quite like Edwin but prefer Edgar.

Also suggest Evan or Ewan
