What do you think of Sven? Is Thor too odd?

Lars is my favourite.

DS has Loki as middle name. If DD2 was a boy she would be Sören Thor. I like Kjell (sounds more like Shell) but not for the UK.

From your OP, IME Sven is alright, Thor is too out there and Gustav sounds like a great-grandfather.

That aside I have nothing against the look or sound of the actual names.

Jens, Svend, Rasmuss, Torben, Hans, Henrik are Danes I know . Svend is too much in my book!
