Cousin's name choices! Help please!

My cousin is expecting twin girls, and is adamant that she wants two double-barrelled names, each with two syllables-one syllable. Here are the names she likes:
Evie-Reese
Sophie-Jade
Zoey-Elle
Ava-Kai
Brooklyn-Skye
Skylar-Belle
Aimi-Rain
Clara-Brooke
Taryn-Grace
Lacey-Star
Kaley-Mai
Hallie-Rose

IMO some are too 'out there' and don't flow well, but she won't listen to me!

I'm not in to hyphenated names myself, but none of the names listed are awful.

I think you need to mind your own business, and stop calling people "mental".

She said she wanted to know people's opinions. I admit that 'mental' wasn't a good word to use, and apologise if I have offended anyone.

I like Skylar belle its pretty.

I like all of those names.

The only down I can think of is how much a pain in the arse it's going to be calling them in for their tea. Or to stop them scrapping.

I wondered if you were being deliberately goady with your thread title, so I searched your name. This isn't your first post, but you only ever post on baby names. Why is that? I'm genuinely interested, given the myriad of different boards that there are on Mumsnet.

Well, Lacey-Star sounds like a crochet pattern for a start.
Aimi-Rain is bloody stupid.
Kai is the name of Wayne Roony's son.
Brooklyn is a Beckham boy
Hallie is dreadful.
Zoey does not have a Y on the end.

Um... Actually the only one I wouldn't snigger at is Taryn-Grace I think.

I don't like hyphenated names at all. Round here they don't have very nice connotations. Sorry, but I think those names are awful like that. As single names a lot of them are pretty though.

Shes obviously happy and excited. Please don't rain on her parade. They may not be to your taste but they aren't your babies.

Biwi - I don't actually use mn, it's just that I'd been asked for opinions on names and mn had been suggested to me

If your cousin double barrels her DDs names she may end up dropping the second part eventually.

Reese, Kai and Brooklyn are boys names.

Lacey-Star is a porn star name. Skylar-Belle and Aimi-Rain are not much better.

It's not creative or interesting to misspell your child's name. It's stupid. Whatever you pick, please spell it correctly.

Oh gosh, the spellings hurt my eyes.
