DC1 due mid Feb. We're not finding out the gender so need boys and girls names ready. I have to say we are struggling!

Could you take a look at our very short lists and suggest anything similar we might like? Our surname is unusual and starts with a chur sound (like Church) and has to be spelt out/corrected all the frigging time so would like something pretty straightforward as a first name.

Thomas
Leo
Harrison (Harry)

Jessica
Amelia
Bethany (I love but DH doesn't)

We are not too bothered by a name being considered very popular or top 100, we both have popular 80s kids first names and it's not a big problem. Middle name would be Alexander or Alexandra.

Thanks in advance for your help Smile

Love Leo, like Harrison (and Harris), not so keen on Thomas.
Like Bethany (though prefer Bethan), Amelia is nice, Jessica is ok.

Benedict
Noah
Isaac
Oscar
Jacob

Megan
Abigail
Charlotte
Sofia
Mia / Maya
Grace

Leo is my fave followed by Thomas but can just hear my family saying that Leo isn't a proper name.... Despite it being centuries old. Love Oscar. Might float that past DH later.

Abigail was on our list for ages even mentioned while TTC but we've kinda gone off it. Can't explain why.

Francesca seems too fussy?
Can't use James, Isaac or Daniel as close family/friends have used these. Same with Laura and Louisa.

I'm with your DH - I don't like Bethany - in my head all I hear is Beffannay

My favourites from your list's would be Leo and Amelia.

and I'd suggest:

Gregor/Gregory
Patrick
Nicholas

Julia
Emma
Anna
