Give me some of your favourite long middle names please, something special, maybe a guilty pleasure that you'd not dare use Grin

After my battles with boys names I just want to enjoy forming a really brilliant girls name,
We seem to have settled on Flora,it seems 'right' somehow.

Not many people say Davinia GlaikitFizzog - now would you like me to bow or curtsey. It's a lovely name though isn't it.

Passmethecrisps · 14/10/2013 21:12

My vote is for marguerite.

No one is changing my mind

sparrowfart23 · 14/10/2013 21:13

A second for Anneliese and Celestine! My favourite long name is Dulcinea, but agree with Abiroad that you might want to avoid another name ending in a. It depends on your surname - e.g. Flora Dulcinea Dunn works but Flora Dulcinea Peterson doesn't IMO - need a good rhythm to it IYSWIM.

Ooh I like Ariadne too!

Mogz · 14/10/2013 21:16

Oh Amaryllis is beautiful. I'd be stealing that except it sounds terrible with our surname. I knew I should have bullied DH in to taking my name.

How about Flora Severine, Flora Ceridwen, Flora Cecily, Flora Evangeline, Flora Oriel, Flora Talitha, Flora Betany

GlaikitFizzog · 14/10/2013 21:40

Just a small dip will do married! I know/knew a lovely davinia. She lived next door to my grandma and always had tales of her exotic childhood in India (I think, may have been Malaysia now I think about it) and how she would get an elephant to school. I don't know how much of it was true, but they we brilliant stories!
