Is it completely wrong to go with a 2 syllable first name if you have a 2 syllable surname?

If so, please suggest some original 3 syllable girls names....

Clara Taylor
Thomas Campbell

They sound absolutely fine to me.

I don't particularly like a one syllable first name with a one syllable surname e.g. Luke Clark or Jane Green, sounds too abrupt to me.

It's fine.

Both my maiden and married names are 2-2. The name we are planning for our baby is also 2-2 so I don't think so.
