Snotty Lottie?

DD due in 3 weeks. Love the name Lottie but not everything that rhymes with it. Also love Isabella but so popular and not so keen on Issy as a nickname. Any other suggestions? Want something a bit unusual but not zany. Am stuck! L's are good with my surname. TIA!

I think you're overthinking it!

Lottie is lovely x

squoosh · 08/10/2013 16:06

Just make sure she carries a tissue with her and she'll be a-ok.

Caip · 08/10/2013 17:47

She could be grotty or spotty too

squoosh · 08/10/2013 17:50

Hopefully she'll be a hottie!

squoosh · 08/10/2013 17:50

Not a bit of Tottie though!

squoosh · 08/10/2013 17:51

Or have sleazy men talk about her botty.

squoosh · 08/10/2013 17:52

That would just be dotty.

DitsyDonkey · 08/10/2013 18:12

squoosh your on a roll Grin

Op I think your over thinking it! Lottie is gorgeous, in fact I am adding it to my list! Are you going with Charlotte nn Lottie or just Lottie? I think I would just put Lottie on the BC!

WineIsMyMainVice · 08/10/2013 21:22

My dd is a Lottie. I also had the same concerns about all the rhymes!
But we put Charlotte on her birth certificate so that she can choose from Charlotte or Charlie or Lottie.

clr2014 · 08/10/2013 21:24

We're thinking of Lottie and i've my hands over my ears and am lalalalala-ing about your nicknames! The other one we're toying with is Louisa. If today was decision day she would be Charlotte Louisa but known as Lottie...

Bowlersarm · 08/10/2013 21:26

Surely you could rhyme any name with a word with dubious meaning? Some a lot worse than 'snotty'.

Lottie is lovely.

CocktailQueen · 08/10/2013 21:29

We have a Lottie in dd's year and she's never been called snotty. Having said that, I don't like her so wouldn't use the name!
