Suggestions for a middle name for Emma please?
I feel like it needs to either be one syllable or 3/4, in order to "flow"! Happy to be corrected though!
Just finding it a difficult name to match middle names with....

Actually two syllables works I think, as well. How do you feel about two -a endings?

Laura I think you are spot on actually re 2 syllables, eg Emma Jasmine flows nicely.
Of the suggestions I most like Emma Grace and Emma Elizabeth. The latter is a beautiful name for your daughter!

What do you think of Emma Katherine?

Some great suggestions, thank you all!
Favourites are still

Emma Grace

But also love Caroline. That was my first doll's name when I was little too! Was hoping to use something with a family connection/significance but the relevant names don't tend to go...

chicaguapa · 07/10/2013 13:29

We have an Emma Rachel, if that helps? Smile

EOKelly · 07/10/2013 13:35

Emma May?
I guess the middle name really depends on the length and rythm of your surname...

Writerwannabe83 · 07/10/2013 13:59

Caroline is lovely! I'm biased though as if we have a baby girl it will be her middle name too Smile

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 07/10/2013 14:05

I am an Emma Louise (outs self totally!). I like how it sounds and it 'flows' IYSWIM?

WheresMyCow · 07/10/2013 14:06

Emma Joanne also works well or at least it has done for me for the last 40 years Grin

Hadmeathello · 07/10/2013 14:09

Was also going to say Emma Louise. The Emma I know has Frances as a middle name which I like.

breakingbadaddict · 07/10/2013 14:10

Mine is Dorothy & I love it!

Tiredemma · 07/10/2013 14:11

Im Emma Louise.

Every Emma I know has Louise for middle name.

Emma is a beautiful name btw, I wanted something slightly similar for DD- decided on Esme.

Hoojimiflip · 07/10/2013 14:16

Rose.

Marjorie/Margery

ConcreteElephant · 07/10/2013 17:42

Ours is Ann. We chose it for family reasons but I do think it flows nicely.

insanelycheerful · 07/10/2013 18:15

Ann/Annie is actually one of our family names that I'd love to use. Now you've said it, Emma Ann does flow quite nicely with our surname (unusual, 3 syllables, begins with a C). So thank you!
