I have loved this for ages. What do you think and which spelling? Smile

I prefer Darcy Smile always liked this name too!

3HotCrossBuns · 02/10/2013 19:56

Or Darcey! Like Darcey Bussell.

HollyGoHeavily · 02/10/2013 20:01

Darcey, i think it makes it more feminine and moves it away from Mr Darcy.

UrethraFranklin · 02/10/2013 20:03

Darcey is my favourite.
I knew there was another spelling but I'm clearly out of it today Confused

meditrina · 02/10/2013 20:04

I'd prefer Darcey, but think Darcy is OK. Less keen on Darcie.

nenehooo · 02/10/2013 20:06

Darcey is AWESOME. I have one Wink so glad we chose - have had loads of compliments on it. One tip - try saying it over and over again for minutes at a time to see if you REALLY like it!

CordeliaRose · 02/10/2013 20:07

You beat me to it Holly - the 'Darcy' spelling makes me think of Mr Darcy, so I'd go with 'Darcey'.
It's a lovely name Smile

BlackholesAndRevelations · 02/10/2013 21:31

Darcey - love it!

Strokethefurrywall · 02/10/2013 21:38

Darcy is number 1 on my girls' list for this one but DH not so keen.

I'm still pushing it though, it's my favourite girls name ever!

TheSeaPriestess · 02/10/2013 22:04

Ooh forgot about Darcey! It is such a lovely name. Is a real contender if we are having a girl I think!

I like Elodie as well but mentioned it to a couple of people who both said 'Melody?' Which I could see annoying the hell out of me...

Id personally go for Darcey. It's a favourite of mine t the moment Grin

Hazelbrowneyes · 03/10/2013 13:50

I adore Darcey but DH has vetoed it Angry

ThreeMyselfAndI · 05/10/2013 08:10

definitely Darcey it's more feminine

Lastofthepodpeople · 05/10/2013 08:17

Definitely Darcy over Darcie.

I like it, although it is getting very popular.

SanityClause · 05/10/2013 08:22

Names ending in "ie" give me The Rage.

I have recently seen

Teddie
Hollie
Lilie (should be pronounced Lie-lee, surely)

But Darcey, or Darcy are fine.

SanityClause · 05/10/2013 08:25

Are you talking about Darcy for a boy? I knew a boy called Darcy long before I ever heard of it as a girls' name. I think it's lovely.

SanityClause · 05/10/2013 08:25

Just not Darcie, 'kay?

KoalaWithAGrudge · 05/10/2013 13:10

I love Darcey but it was vetoed by DH because he had recently been informed that Hardy Styles loved this name for a daughter Hmm Go for it!

KoalaWithAGrudge · 05/10/2013 13:25
