Eloise is much nicer imo :)

TerrorMeSue · 29/09/2013 18:07

Claudia

Clara is also nice.

WinkyWinkola · 29/09/2013 18:14

Claudia

Eloise makes me think of pale, wan goths.

Bowlersarm · 29/09/2013 18:14

Claudia

Wolfcub · 29/09/2013 18:17

Eloise

Pie8er · 29/09/2013 20:09

Eloise...not sure what the sudden obsession with Claudia is - I can't stand it!

tammytoby · 29/09/2013 21:43

Eloise is much, much, much nicer. Elegant, feminine and pretty!

Claudia sounds harsh and, more importantly, has a very unfortunate meaning, being derived directly from the Latin for disabled/lame.

elcranko · 30/09/2013 00:07

Eloise.

ModeratelyObvious · 30/09/2013 00:12

Ooh I like both

Tavv · 30/09/2013 11:18

Eloise

AntoinetteCosway · 30/09/2013 11:49

Eloise is beautiful.

poppydaisy · 30/09/2013 12:53

Eloise by a mile. Not keen on Claudia, sorry.

squoosh · 30/09/2013 12:56

Claudia.

Eloise is such a whiney sound.

Eloise. Much prettier.

vitaminC · 01/10/2013 10:11

Eloise, as it sounds much softer and more feminine.
Claudia is harsher and I would expect someone much tougher and more assertive.

Frikadellen · 02/10/2013 19:50

of the 2 Eloise.. But I prefer Eloisa

allyfe · 02/10/2013 19:54

ELOISE (saying it loudly 'cause I LOVE it. It didn't go with our surname, so wasn't allowed). Also don't like Claudia. Just makes me think of Claude.

Suzietwo · 02/10/2013 20:04

What about claudie?

Smugfearnleyshittingstool · 02/10/2013 20:13

Love Claudia, it's my dd2 name, although she's usually claudie. I've noticed it's popping up here a bit though :(

mumbaisapphire · 02/10/2013 20:19

Claudia! I have one so am biased, but I love it. Eloise is also nice. Claudia does seem to be getting popular, but last I look it was 260th or something like that, so still pretty rare. I think that the meaning puts some people off which might explain it not being higher on the list.

OldRoan · 02/10/2013 20:21

Eloise, but I would spell it Heloise...
