Love Pip and quite like Milo.

Pearl is great and I quite like Ivy and Darcie too.

Choccywoccydodah · 27/09/2013 18:00

Not keen on any of the boys, but that's my preference not yours Smile. Only one I would use is Miles if I had to.

And the girls, I like Darcie.

magicstars · 27/09/2013 18:06

Hugo & milo, Arabella & tabitha my favs.

Cupcake11 · 27/09/2013 18:33

Love hearing everyone else's opinions! I know they won't be to everyone's taste but that's how it should be.
Oh, I missed Millie off of my girls names too. That's DH's favourite.

Arthur - have a personal hatred of this name (sorry!)
Barclay - don't like surnames personally
Hugo - okay
Miles - okay
Milo - quite like
Noah - like
Pip (sentimental) - like (but more as a nickname)
Woody - no

Girls:
Annabel - not so keen -
Arabella - don't like
Clover - nope
Darcie - nope
Edie - nope
Ivy - Don't mind, a bit old lady. Knew a very cool one.
Matilda - Lovely but popular
Molly - I like Molly.
Pearl - don't like
Primrose - prefer just Rose
Tabitha - tabby is just too much of a cat
Ebony - don't like it much

You might keep a few favourites, and see what you think suits your baby. For my first I thought the idea of a name suiting a newborn baby was ludicrous but when my baby was born we had to dismiss the name we had chosen, and find another one. She was just to much of an opinionated grump (in fairness, she had been forceped), to be a Rose :)

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 27/09/2013 20:08

Arthur
Noah
Milo

Annabel
Edie

Cupcake11 · 27/09/2013 21:35

Ally- you're not the first person to say Tabitha's too cat-like Sad

OP posts:
CarriMarie · 27/09/2013 21:36

Noah, Arthur or Miles
Matilda, Tabitha or Annabel

Vijac · 27/09/2013 22:44

I like most of them but don't like Barclay, Clover, Primrose or Ebony.

Vijac · 27/09/2013 22:46

Also don't like Darcie. My favourites are Hugo and Miles for a boy and Annabelle or Matilda for a girl.

funnymummy2931 · 28/09/2013 10:09

Love Milo and Annabel, don't really like the others sorry.

sleepingbeautiful · 28/09/2013 15:57

I like Pip but would use full name Philip, even though I'm not usually a rabid 'you must use full name on b/cert" MNer. I just think you'd have to be quite a rugged chap or a boffin to carry off Pip as an adult.
Otherwise Miles or Arthur. I'm not keen on Noah, and Hugo has started to become an annoying Hyacinth Bucket type choice.

Annabel is my favourite from you girls list, then Matilda, Darcie and Primrose. I know you added Millie, but I find it a bit little girlish. For some reason Molly is easier to imagine on an adult than Millie, but that's just me.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/09/2013 19:47

Boys:
Arthur - it's okay
Barclay - absolutely bloody awful, sorry
Hugo - not overfond and it's appearing a lot on here lately
Miles - okayish
Milo - no
Noah - yes
Pip (sentimental) - lovely as nn for Philip
Woody - hate it, sorry

Girls:
Annabel
Arabella
Clover - love this
Darcie - like but prefer Darcy
Edie - love this
Ivy
Matilda
Molly
Pearl
Primrose
Tabitha - not fond
Ebony - hate this, sorry
The others are okay.

CruCru · 28/09/2013 20:50

I don't much like Bel names because my hometown accent pronounces it Bewl - ie AnnaBewl. May not bother you.

I hate Barclay and Woody - sorry - I don't think they are names.

Britchic · 29/09/2013 07:36

Boys:
Arthur - nice, but becoming very popular
Barclay - no
Hugo - love
Miles - never really liked this
Milo - chocolate drink
Noah - love, but popular
Pip (sentimental) - love
Woody - nooooooo!

Girls:
Annabel - ok
Arabella - ok
Clover - no
Darcie - I think this is really pretty
Edie - hmmm.... quite like
Ivy - bit too grannyish for me
Matilda - like
Molly - love
Pearl - same as Ivy
Primrose - not really
Tabitha - love
Ebony - nope, sorry!

CPtart · 29/09/2013 07:50
