Can't decide between these two. It's to go with Johnny, if that helps.

Thanks. Smile

I love Rosa, wanted it for dd but dh not keen.

nowthenmardybum · 24/09/2013 16:49

I love the name Martha, was very nearly chosen for my DD.

Mutteroo · 24/09/2013 17:15

Both are great names with Rosa being my favourite of the two.

Think Martha goes best with johnny Smile

UriGeller · 24/09/2013 17:50

I like Rosa best. Though Martha does go nicely with Johnny.
That's no help Blush

LeslieKnope · 24/09/2013 17:51

Would you consider Martha Rose

elcranko · 24/09/2013 19:14

Love them both, Martha 'goes' better with Johnny though IMO.

Shesaysso · 24/09/2013 19:17

Love love love Martha - I wanted it but my husband vetoed

sydenhamhiller · 24/09/2013 19:22

Love both.

Slightly more in favour of Rosa because (a) know a fab 7 yr old Rosa; (b) Rosa Luxembourg is a minor hero of mine (c) my primary school was taught by missionaries and lots of Bible stories... The whole Mary and Martha thing has always coloured how I feel about that name.

KatamariDamacy · 24/09/2013 19:23

Both lovely - I adore Martha and would have liked it for DD except it really doesn't go with our surname.

BikeRunSki · 24/09/2013 19:24

Love Martha
Really don' t like Rosa.

Minty82 · 24/09/2013 21:30

Ooh, two of my favourites, and two of the possible contenders if DC2 turns out to be DD2! Martha's gorgeous, and I think would be top of our list if good friends didn't have one already...but Rosa is simple yet elegant, works internationally, lovely on a small child or an adult, and has Rosa Luxembourg and Rosa Parks as excellent namesakes! Unfortunately in my case all DH can think of is Rosa Klebb...

Anyway, utterly unhelpful as I love them both and think they're both great with Johnny. Just wanted to applaud your taste!

YoMamma · 24/09/2013 22:01

Martha Rose

BlueShirtBlueTie · 24/09/2013 22:04

I prefer Martha.

Martha Rose/Martha Rosa is a pretty name though so I see no reason why you can't use both.

CordeliaRose · 25/09/2013 20:46

I like Martha, but Rosa is my favourite of the two. I only know one Rosa - and she is fabulous!

smother · 26/09/2013 09:48

Both gorgeous names, you can't go wrong!
