I'm in a country where this is considered a bit old-fashioned. I love it though - does it matter that my older child cannot pronounce it? He says Marfa!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Wish I'd chosen Martha. Lovely name.

Martha's beautiful. Marfa's kinda cute too.

Love Martha and also wish I'd chosen it.

Love it. Want a baby just so I can have one too...(am too old and have 2 already)

MildredH · 23/09/2013 21:15

I love it. Would be on my shortlist for bump but DH has vetoed.

Also like Marta as an easier to pronounce alternative..?

Tikkamasala · 24/09/2013 00:48

Lovely name, really sweet

Mutteroo · 24/09/2013 00:54

I'm sure there are many older siblings who do not pronounce their younger brother & sister's names properly so don't let that put you off. Martha is a gorgeous name OP.

Love it. Wanted it for my DD who is 17 weeks but DH said no. I also love Mabel. Still wish I had insisted on one of those.

InStyle · 24/09/2013 11:46

That's what I'm worried about emmylou, not using it then always regretting it...What did you go for in the end? Something more out there? Or safer still?
