I am half Spanish. We will be giving birth and living in a Spanish speaking country (Ecuador).

DH's first name is Jesús. Would it be evil to give a son a middle name of Jesús as it's a family name which we haven't actually used her (despite 3 other sons!).

My DSM is called Isabelle. Would it be weird to give a girl the middle name Isabelle (Isabella, Isabel, any variant) when we live on an island called Isabela?

I like them all, I'm not much help . One of my daughters has the S name from your list - spelt the same way, so that may be my favourite, closely followed by Lucia, not so much Luciana. Isidora doesn't really appeal either but not because of the island where you live, I'm just not the world's biggest fan of Dora in any shape.

I think you'd be fine to go with Isabel etc as a middle name.

And of course Jesus has to be done . My daughters middle names are all family names, albeit of the Mary type.

Lucia & Sofia are beautiful, Sofia v popular. I like valentina, elena and Luna too.
