B/G twin names

We have a couple of combinations on the short list but neither of us are totally convinced especially on the girls names. Any suggestions?

Felix and Amber - we both like Felix but I am not sure about Amber especially as she could be a red head
Jasper and Beatrix - I love both these but DH doesn't like Beatrix at all
Frankie and Martha or Tabitha - think these may be making up the numbers really

We like Eloise but not sure if it is a bit popular. I like Mabel or Sylvie but DH is not sure. Also would it be tacky to have Felix and Flora or Freya?

All of those are lovely. My favourite boy/girl twins are Ben Elton's, Lottie and Bert (Charlotte and Albert). Good luck.

Freya and Jasper would be my choice.

Jasper or Felix, and Martha

Felix and Martha/Tabitha for me.

I think though, that you could have Felix and flora/Freya at a push. They don't not go together !!

Amber is lovely, as is Martha (but more popular). I love Slyvie - very classic, and Mabel is definitely coming back as an olde worlde classic.

Jasper quite popular (and I can't help but think of Jasper Carrot -- any possibility your DS might be a redhead - that might not work in that case). Felix is nice too but would be worried about combining with Beatrix as they'd become Fee and Bea (cheesy!). I like Frankie too. Good choices!!

Have you factored middle names in yet (if you're having 2nd names)? Don't forget to check that the names sound "right" both ways round - boy then girl, and, girl then boy - I take it you can't know for sure which order they're arriving?

I like Amber but yes if a little red head maybe an issue (or maybe very cool)? Also Felix and Eloise.

I love Felix and Jasper. I think Elodie is lovely snd sort of similar to Eloise.

Sylvie is beautiful and we would have used it if dts were not boys and if I didn't have a lisp.

We have William for middle name for a boy as it is a family name but haven't got a middle name for girl yet, we are thinking Grace or Mae but want to get the first name sorted first.

DH has red hair and thinks of Jasper Carrot too but I am not sure that should matter really.
