What are people's thoughts? Still early days but we're already discussing names!

I love it!

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/08/2013 09:35

It's great Smile

DB is a Max and I think it's such a strong, fun name.

Floralnomad · 30/08/2013 09:38

I know 4 Max's ,they are all dogs , just a thought .

Writerwannabe83 · 30/08/2013 09:47

I like Max - it suits children of all ages!

I see Max as being a loveable scamp Grin

Queazy · 30/08/2013 10:18

I really love it!

Choccyhobnob · 30/08/2013 10:19

I have a nephew called Max who is 5. I think there are about 5 others in his year but it's a good name Smile

FranSanDisco · 30/08/2013 10:23

DS is Max and so I love Smile. Not over popular in this area of Greater London. He is the only one in his school and I only know one in the school I teach in. You will always get the comment it's a dog's name Hmm.

MrsBucketxx · 30/08/2013 10:42

Best name ever but I am biased! Wink

Bluestocking · 30/08/2013 21:58

I love it, I know several of different ages, all great lads. It is short and sweet but also a strong name. Also love the Where the Wild Things Are connection!

PistachioTruffle · 30/08/2013 22:02

I really like it.

DalmationDots · 31/08/2013 14:32

I love it (as my name would suggest!)

Its easy for other kids, easy for him to spell and write, uncomplicated.......

And I don't know any other Max's and theres none in his whole year at school!

Tea1Sugar · 31/08/2013 17:18

Yay Smile I'll get over the post liking Max to a dog's name. Dp and I really like it. Still plenty of time though, not due until April Blush

It just reminds me of the size Max or a volume button or something!

ch1134 · 01/09/2013 17:25

as a teacher I always find it ironic that most Max's are not very big or the best at anything. they tend to be average, not Max...

TwoStepsBeyond · 01/09/2013 17:33

charming ch1134 Hmm

TwoStepsBeyond · 01/09/2013 17:35

...and if you actually are a teacher, surely you should know that the plural of Max doesn't require an apostrophe?
