Or maybe something less run of the mill?

Now, I like a unusual name, but these are extra!

However, never ever be out off by other people. If you choose a name like this you have to rock it!

DoItTooJulia · 29/08/2013 12:22

Out? Put!

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 29/08/2013 12:46

Yeah...these are way too mainstream...back to the drawing board.

BikeRunSki · 29/08/2013 12:47

Are you picking up a prescription?

Rooners · 29/08/2013 12:51

Meanings please

noblegiraffe · 29/08/2013 12:54

Sound like a foot disease.

ohmymimi · 29/08/2013 13:01

Rooney - Vortigern means high lord/king; Tintabula relates to the sounds of bells.

Sorry Rooners . didn't check before posting.

Maybe, as Tintabula is bell related, I should go for Quasimodo instead of Vortigern. Quasimodo means almost the standard measure, in case anyone is tempted by it.

Sound like names in a medieval bawdy romance :)

meditrina · 29/08/2013 16:34

As Vortigern was a 5th century warlord, I'd assume you're very into battle reenactment - rather like this.

ILoveDolly · 29/08/2013 16:38

Please, please, don't do this. Use them as second names. If you must.

Tiredemma · 29/08/2013 16:39

Sound like something from Harry Potter. or Game of Thrones.

sorry.

Writerwannabe83 · 29/08/2013 16:45

This has to be a wind up? Hmm Grin

dingledongle · 29/08/2013 17:00

Please don't inflict this on a child!

Writerwannabe83 · 29/08/2013 17:09

Tintabula reminds me instantly of Tituba from The Crucible and I'm not sure I'd want my child being casually linked to that monstrosity.... Hmm

ohmymimi · 29/08/2013 19:05

Blimey, Wannabe, the Black Witch of Salem, I hadn't thought of that. Maybe I need to go back to my first thought, Medusa - I've always loved snakes (and statues).

Tired

You beat me to it, I was thinking Harry Potter. Grin
OP, you can't be serious?

What is wrong with a normal name these days? I never come across people with weird names in rl, it's only on here.

ohmymimi · 29/08/2013 19:16

Hmmm Everlong, too like tinnitus and vertigo, maybe?

Not rockabilly tune Tickabilla

ohmymimi · 29/08/2013 19:31

Flibber, you've got me thinking - Tickerbilla has possibilities, I loved hopscotch when I was a kid.
