Unusual middle names!

We have chosen Luca Theodore for a boy, but we have a family tradition of 2 middle names. So Luca X Theodore or Luca Theodore X or whatever. We'd like a really unusual middle name to contrast with the fairly popular other names. Suggestions?

We haven't chosen first names or middle names for a girl. We are probably ending up with a boy (out of five kids, nearly all boys) but who knows? Going for the scan so might not need one of the names, but would like suggestions for out there girl names too!

I would go for a family name for middle name, or a name that means something to you. Otherwise why bother?

If unusual is the criteria though, how bout Moonshine.

Otis

For some reason it just seems to fit.

Thanks everyone, I am really bad at coming up with names and everyone's suggestions have helped Smile

We don't have many places which are special enough to name our son or daughter after. They are either Finnish places, which, tbh, sound a bit crazy, I think we have Mersey as a place we could use.

Again, thanks, I love Luca Theodore Orion, Luca Theodore Quinn, Luca Falcon Theodore, Luca Theodore Gray, Luca Fox Theodore, Luca Theodore Alaric, Luca Theodore Blue (even with the initials of LTB!), Luca Theodore Wolf, Luca Theodore Sebastian and and Luca Theodore Blake for sure, and many, many more.

I like Sunshine, but in my area it's seen as a girl name. I love Nellie but know a little girl called that, so we might go for Nell. Sunny- I like that for a first name. Decisions, decisions...Smile

Thanks

IF Finnish Places then why not use Finn?

RoastedCouchPotatoes · 27/08/2013 02:17

I suggested it early on- not thinking of the Finnish connection though!- but DH vetoed it Angry Annoying, but he cuts my short list right down. Tbf, I do the same. We have opposite name choices.
