Clemence??

Hello!!

We need help with Girls names... So far we have....

Clemence
Bella
Lyra
Mae

We can't make a decision!!! I really like Clemence, but husband is having a wobble as doesnt like Clem or Clemie... Which do you like? Any other suggestions welcome, especially that go with Mary which is a family name that we're thinking as using as her middle name..

Love Bella also but been put off be fact that now number one name in US due to the obsession with the Twighlight Saga! Does that matter?!

Have you considered Clementine? It's a bit more feminine, and by the look of your other three names you are verging on the feminine sounding names.

Bella, yes I'd be concerned about the connection. But will she know about it when she's older? Won't be a popular book/film then.

Lyra for some reason when written makes me think of Lycra (read it that way to start). However I really like it when said aloud. It does hit the magical 'will suit baby and adult' tick box that we were after when we named DS.

Mae for me is a bit cowboy, southern US for me. It's nice, but might not suit unless she has blonde curly hair and likes cowboy boots
