Middle name for Georgia?

Pineapplefreak · 22/08/2013 20:06

We have settled on Georgia for the first name if is baby is a girl (highly unlikely methinks) but I'm stuck for middle names.

I like the sound of Georgia Rose and Georgia May but they are far too popular for my liking so will definitely not be going for them. Don't think I will go for double barrelled but if I like the sound of the two together, I could see us using it at home, as we do for DS.

So I'm thinking one syllable is probably best. Any ideas, I cannot think of anything else!

Georgia Rose is in the new one direction song Blush

TWavre · 22/08/2013 20:15

I know it's not one syllable but Georgia Elouise? Or Georgia Fay if you like the sound of May?

Pineapplefreak · 22/08/2013 20:19

I know, I'm singing it now! I've went on a few rants about its overuse around these parts, literally every baby is something-Rose!

Quite like May but feel its too popular, I hate having something that every one else has. I have never met a Georgia before so it's pretty uncommon here, as I know it would be very normal outside Ireland.

My friends wee girl is Faye so I think that rules it out, but it's nice.

I saw this and immediately thought Georgia Beth. Not a name I'd usually be drawn to but I think it sounds lovely and I would go for Beth rather than Elizabeth as the full name.

Love Georgia, brilliant choice!

I would suggest Georgia Maeve, close to Georgia May but a bit different

Other ideas:
Georgia Niamh
Georgia Fern
Georgia Dawn
Georgia Pearl
Georgia Hebe
Georgia Phoebe
Georgia Maud

MrsMongoose · 24/08/2013 02:42

Georgia Rose... 1D
Georgia May... Jagger

Agree with finding something different. Something like Georgia Elle /Ellen?

sleepingbeautiful · 24/08/2013 04:26

If you liked Georgia Fay/e, what about Georgia Faith?

FamiliesShareGerms · 24/08/2013 04:45

I think Georgia lends itself to almost any middle name - are there no family names you want to use?

Pineapplefreak · 24/08/2013 18:34

Mary is a very common name in my family, but it's my second name and tbh I hate it!! May is very similar but very overused so it puts me off.

Just thought of Georgia Eve? Opinions?

Hmm the a....e together make it a bit awkward on the tongue.

Mind, I never refer to my dd as Fn Mn so it wouldnt matter I suppose. However if you are olanning to use both, its something to think about.

oooh Georgia Faith is lovely. Of all the names so far - that would be my favourite.

Your suggestion of Georgia Eve would be my choice after that. Very pretty.

There are some very nice names on here, but those are the two that (for me, at least) sound the nicest.

Pineapplefreak · 24/08/2013 21:25

I want to stick to a one syllable second name, although there are some lovely suggestions, like Georgia Arabella.

I know I wouldn't get faith past DH, he would think it's too 'out there'

How about Georgia Neve. Solves the problem of adjacent vowels, but similar sounding. Neve is DD's middle name, so I'm biased Wink

Conina · 24/08/2013 23:31

Georgia Jane

I've seen this thread several times n thought that each time.

GrassIsntGreener · 24/08/2013 23:33

Immediately thought Georgia Louise

We'd have had a Georgia, but we had a George Wink
