Hard to explain as I can't think of any English words that rhyme with the first part but it is sort of Ay-r (as in hay) liss . The 'r' is rolled. Some will tell you it is Eye-rliss or Air-liss but they're wrong .

In n wales (where I'm from) its Air-Liss (with the r rolled)

Although melon is right about the pronunciation of the 'air' part - hard to describe!
