So we have girls names sorted, boys are not as easy this time! Let me know what you think of these and any others I may like? Want it ideally not top 20 and to go with surname beginning with I, 3 syllables.
These are names we agree on:

Sebastian
Harry (I know, no1!)
Reuben
Oscar
Maddox
Jude

If your surname has 3 syllables I think Sebastian is a bit of a mouthful with it.

How about:

Theo
Max
Dominic

I met a delightful Casper last week and thought ooh if I'd had a boy that would be a lovely name.

However I have 2 girls and have closed the office for business.

Sebastian is lovely. Nickname Seb

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/08/2013 16:11

Love Oscar and Sebastian.

Fay-bee-an - I like it a lot.
Simeon
Simon
Laurence
Julian

We have a 3 syllable surname too and feel 2 syllable first names work best.

I like Reuben and Oscar from your list.

How about:
Rufus
Milo
Leo
Silas
Patrick
Amos
Xander
Linus
Joel
Owen

The Fabian I know is Fab-yan.

Sebastian is ok but I really dislike Seb/Sebby/Basty. Reuben and Quentin are nice.

Christopher (Kit)
Rafferty
Jasper
Raphael
Gabriel

Miller

Rudi

shoobidoo · 11/08/2013 22:04

But in English Rudi sounds like someone very rude Grin! Don't think it works in the UK for that reason.

kiwik · 11/08/2013 23:47

I can't get past Fab-Ian with the name Fabian, which ruins it for me. Bloody uncultured Kiwi husband having never seen the name before.

How about:
Josiah
Jocelyn
Abraham (Bram is a fab shortening)
Nicholas
Dominic

JacqueslePeacock · 11/08/2013 23:50

I think 1-syllable first name is best with 3-syllable surname. Max is good. Ben? Jude? Seth? If you wanted a longer name you could officially use the full thing and then shorten it to a 1-syllable name.

JacqueslePeacock · 11/08/2013 23:50

Bram is good.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/08/2013 23:56

Bram is lovely.

sonlypuppyfat · 12/08/2013 00:00

One of my favourite names is Ira but I can't get anyone to go for it

ClartyCarol · 12/08/2013 00:07

Gabriel?
