Phoebe Miriam for me. Both are beautiful names.

Miriam is a wimp.

Carmen is a vamp.

I prefer Carmen.

Don't like either much. And don't think either goes with Phoebe, which, btw, is lovely.

Miriam is lovely, but not convinced it goes with Phoebe.

Miriam is awful imo and just makes me think of this!

I think Phoebe goes better with a 3 syllable middle name though.

I really like Miriam - beautiful, soft and gentle sounding name.
Carmen is a bit harsh and abrasive.

Not sure on either name paired with Phoebe though, which I think demands a longer middle name.

My Miriam is 4 and she is funny, stroppy, imaginative, confident, cute, loud, cuddly, bossy. I love her to bits and I still love her name.

Totally Miriam - love it. Carmen is a 'exotic dancer' name and my phone auto corrects it to Carmel...

Miriam is my sisters middle name, she's 23 now and really hates it, I actually quite like it but for some unknown reason she's embarrased by it, it's much better than Louise and Jane which me and or other sister got

Miriam is a gorgeous name and has lovely nicknames. Phoebe also very pretty and TBH I think it goes wells it's either Miriam or Carmen, but I prefer Phoebe Miriam (although both are family names for me so I'm biased!)
